Our industry survives on a series of promises. 

Health insurance agents and benefit consultants must make promises in order to differentiate themselves and secure new clients.  However, when those promises are broken, and clients are lost, they are forced to make more new promises to more new clients in order to keep the cycle (and the business) going.  It is a frustrating thing to both witness and experience.

The problem with a promise is that it only implies the intention to perform.  What could initally be a genuine intention to perform, may wane over time.  Unfortunately, good intentions do not always yield good results.

At Brightside, we have long given up the term 'promise' for something much more secure...commitment.  That commitment is embodied in three simple words: Health.  Benefits.  Empowerment.

It's easy.  If it isn't healthy, if it serves no benefit, and if it will not lead to empowerment...we just don't do it!  It is not our intention, it is not our hope...it is our commitment.
